JOHN HEADLEY

John David Headley, 64, of Sistersville, WV passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at his residence.

Son of Harlen John Headley and the late Patsy Jo Eddy Oliverio, JD was born March 21, 1962, in Clarksburg, WV. JD was known for his hard work ethic and his love for fun. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, waterskiing, riding 4-wheelers, tinkering with mechanics on cars, going on the river and fishing. When he wasn’t taking part in his numerous hobbies, he was working hard as a truck driver for Coca-Cola for several years, until finishing his career with Precision LLC. Some might even say he was the “best wheeler and dealer in the Tri-County area.”

JD was preceded in death by his loving wife, Melissa M. Headley; son, John Trampis “JT” Headley; and brother, Donnie Headley.

He is survived by two sons, Harlen Headley and Drew Headley (Khari); daughter, Brandy Jones (Robbie); grandchildren, John Headley (Tiara), David Headley, Brionna Headley (Jerry Duvall), Derek Headley, Noel Headley, Patrick Jones, and Austin Jones; great-grand child, Rynlee Duvall, and another on the way; and sisters, Brenda Dierkes, Sheila Currie, and Kathy Graham.

There will be no public services and a private cremation will take place. Myers Funeral Home is honored to serve the Headley family.
