Mary Cathy Eddy Grimes

Mary Cathy Eddy Grimes, 70, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at her home.

She was born November 8, 1954, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Lewis and Laura Ruth Herman Walton.

She was a former waitress at Choo Choo’s Restaurant New Martinsville, WV. She liked to sew and to can food. She loved her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charity Ann Eddy.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, John Grimes; a son, Benjamin (Julee) Eddy of Friendly, WV; a daughter, Laura (Jeremy) Poole of Paden City, WV; a brother, Michael J. Walton of FL; a step son, John Daniel (Merritt) Grimes of Sistersville, WV; 2 step daughters, Emmie Jo (Shawn) Baker of Alma, WV and Jessica Leek of Middlebourne, WV; 14 special grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
