Verna Alma Yoho

Verna Alma Yoho, 96, of Paden City, WV passed peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025 while at Sistersville Center.

Verna was born November 12, 1928, in Proctor, WV daughter of the late Holly and Louisa (Workman) Willoughby.

She was a homemaker. Enjoyed making crafts, gardening and baking. Verna was a member of the Paden City Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Lee Yoho; grandson, George W. Meeks, III; five siblings, Harold Willoughby, Elnora Tuttle, Xie Goddard, Lennice Goddard and Sharon Ames.

Surviving is her son, Timothy L. (Mary) Yoho and daughter, Diana (George) Meeks both of Paden City, WV; three grandchildren, Lori (Jason Yost) Yoho, Ryan Yoho and Kaitlyn Duke; four great grandchildren, Connor Yost, Aria Self, Cody Vanhoose, Hope Vanhoose and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home in Paden City where services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025 with Dale Dudgeon officiating. Burial to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.
