Carol Sue Martin

Carol Sue Martin, 81, of Belmont, WV, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at her daughter’s home in League City, TX. A daughter of the late James and Pearl Neff Hissom, she was

born February 5, 1944 in Sistersville, WV. She was a former school secretary and librarian with Pleasant County Schools. Carol was a devout Christian and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joseph Martin; brother, Roger Hissom; and grandson, Henry Hale. Carol is survived by her daughter, Melinda Buzzard (Kevin); son, Brian Martin (Frances); sisters, Connie Shreves and Barbara Davis; grandchildren, Caitlee Jackson, Talan Martin (Kelsey), Alexa Martin, Tytan Martin, Brittnay Buzzard, and Kylee Northrop (Bernie); great grandchildren, Khailyer Ewing and Ka’mya Ewing; along with a host of other beloved family members and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Kincaid officiating. Service will conclude with burial in Friendly Cemetery. Visitation will take
