Thomas Eli Martin

Thomas Eli Martin, 68, of Bearsville, WV left this world on Saturday, April 5, 2025 while at his home.

Thomas was born July 22, 1956, in Wheeling, WV son of the late Thomas R. and Freda M. (Carrol) Martin.

He was a retired custodian for Tyler County Schools, founder and owner of Marksman Gun Shop where he was gun smith. Thomas enjoyed hunting, making guns and shooting guns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daily and Eli Martin and Clyde and Edith Carrol.

Surviving is his wife of forty-five years as of Friday, April 4, “Jackie” (Thomas) Martin; brother, Richard (Debbie) Martin of Middlebourne, WV; nephew, Jonathan (Larissa) Martin of Middlebourne, WV.

Friends received 4-8 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Furbee Williams Funeral Home, 7908 Middle Island Rd, Alma, WV where services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025 with Pastor Ben Thomas officiating. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery near Alma, WV.
