Larry L. Neff

Larry L. Neff, 85, of Middlebourne, WV passed Friday, April 11, 2025 while at Wetzel County Hospital.

He was born October 8, 1939, in Lone Tree, Tyler County, WV son of the late Laman L. and Marybelle R. (Ferrell) Neff.

Larry loved turkey and deer hunting, he was a collector of antique trucks, cars and old coins. He was a fan of NASCAR. He was a member of the Pursley Church of Christ where he led the congregation in song.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tim Neff; step son, Steve Goddard and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving is his loving wife, of thirty-one years, Orvella (Goddard) Neff; his children, Sandy (Mike) Howell and Debra (Rick) Thomas; stepchildren, Susan Sedgmer, Russ Goddard, Cindy (Butch) Fulks and Mike Goddard; he leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Richard C. (Sharon) Neff; sister, Ileta Louise (Leon) Willis and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 4-7 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Furbee Williams Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Middlebourne, where services will be held 11 a.m., April 15, 2025. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery near Bearsville.
