Gloria Pauline Forrester

Gloria Pauline Forrester, 69, of Middlebourne, WV took the next step on her journey on Saturday, January 25, 2025 while at New Martinsville Health and Rehab with her family by her side.

Gloria was born August 14, 1955, in Orlando, FL daughter of the late Thomas F. Smith, Sr and Marjorie A. (Baker) McMinn (2024)

She had been a CNA at Colin Anderson, worker for Simonton Windows, Seamstress at Pennsboro Sewing Factory, cashier at Walmart, waitress at several restaurants including the Main Street Diner, huge Elvis fan and she was a member of the Middlebourne Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joseph Forrester.

Surviving are her three granddaughters, Makenzie Forester, Cheyenne Truex and Peyton Truex; six sisters, Carolyn Sue Warner of Arlington, TX, Evelyn “Sis” Owens of Middlebourne, WV, Betty Lou (Larry) Britton of Friendly, WV, Dixie (Erwin) Fouts and Sheila (Jay) Hayes both of Middlebourne, WV and Petina Napoli of Danville, PA; brother, Thomas (Melissa) Smith, Jr. of Pennsboro, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 5-7 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Furbee Williams Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Middlebourne, WV. Burial to be held at the convenience of the family.
