Joseph Corriveau
Joseph Armond Corriveau, Sr., 99, of Tyler County took the next step on his journey on Sunday, August 4, 2024 while at Sistersville General.
Joe was born November 5, 1924, in Oklee, MN son of the late Armond J. and Elvie V. (Bremseth) Corriveau.
He was a member of the United States Navy. Serving his county in three theaters World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Joe enjoyed deer hunting. He was a Catholic by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Corriveau; son, Joseph A. Corriveau, Jr.; two infant sisters; one infant brother; seven siblings, Ethel Burge, Joyce Borgeson, Kenneth Corriveau, Bernell Corriveau, Ann Farley, Lois Dresel and Robert Corriveau.
Surviving are his three sisters, Mildred “Millie” Ford of Berry, KY, Geraldine Benson of Grand Forks, ND and Aileen Bennitt of Holt, MN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2024. Burial with military honors will be conducted at Victory Cemetery on Indian Creek Road.
