John Wayne Weekley

John Wayne Weekley, 66, of Paden City, WV and Tyler County High School class of 1975, left his family and friends on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. After retiring as automobile technician in the New Martinsville area and maintenance at Air Products, John could be seen on an early Spring morning fishing in his camo in his favorite spot-on Conaway Lake. He loved his family and friends. He was very quick and witty with a response to make someone laugh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods. His favorite pastime was spending time in his shop with his buddy’s telling stories and reminiscing. He enjoyed listening to music.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Orrin and Juanita (Haught) Weekley and sister, Norma Williams.

John will be greatly missed by his wife of forty-one years, Sue (Kimble) Weekley; his sons, Nathan (Aundi) Weekley and Josh (Michalle) Weekley; brother, Ernie Weekley; sisters, Patsy Fonner and Kathy Lee; many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and five grandchildren.

At John’s request there will be no services. He wants you to remember his smile, laugh and the good times.
