James “Jim” Russell Bonner,

James “Jim” Russell Bonner, 61, of Grafton, WV. “Jim” recently returned to WV after living in Comanche, Iowa for the past several years. He was born and raised in Joseph’s Mills WV. “Jim” left this world on Saturday, February 24, 2024 while at Encompass in Morganton, WV.

“Jim” was born June 28, 1962, son of the late Robert R. and the late Esther A. (Markle) Bonner.

He was a retired employee of Archer Daniels Midland Company “ADM” in Iowa, a very proud U.S. Navy veteran, graduate of Tyler County High Class of 1980 and he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, golfing and spending time with his friends and family.

Surviving are his three siblings, Jeannine (John) Wiles of Tunnelton, WV, Patricia Stewart of Sistersville, WV and Michael Bonner of Paden City, WV; step-mother, Ida Mae Bonner of Paden City, WV and step-siblings, Carol Kissner and Richard (Diane) Wright both of Paden City, WV; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received 3-7 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Furbee-Williams Funeral Home, 7908 Middle Island Rd, Alma, WV, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024 with burial to follow in Springhill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Spring Hill Cemetery Association.
