DAVID “DAVY” LEMASTERS

David G.“Davy” Lemasters, 89, of East Liverpool, OH, passed away July 6, 2011 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born December 4, 1921, a son of the late Enoch Lemasters and Sarah Ballengee Lemasters.

David was a retired elec- trician with Weirton Steel and he was WWII Army veteran and served in the European Theatre. He was also a member of the VFW Post #6327 of Sistersville.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth McKinney Mercer Lemasters; sons, Richard (Nancy) Lemasters of Sistersville and Franklin (Diane) Lemasters of Santa Clarita, CA; daughter, Kathryn (Virgil) Mellott of Surprise, AZ; stepsons, Jeffrey (Jackie) Mercer and Donald Mercer of East Liverpool, OH; step- daughter, Carol (John) Fabriele of Safety Harbor, FL; seven grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lemasters, brothers, Homer and Norman Lemasters and sisters, Ruth Howard, Nelle Boyles and Helen Lemasters.

Services will be Monday from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend John Lemasters officiating. Interment will be at Parks Cemetery on Eight Mile Road with military graveside services.
