Swan, Arthur Lee

Arthur Lee “Sammy” Swan, 41, of New Martinsville, departed this life Saturday, July 28, 2012 in Middlebourne. He was born November 29, 1970 the son of Charles R. and Alice F. Bassett Swan of Middlebourne.

Sammy was a laborer and attended Just as I am Ministry, Elk Fork. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his children; Zachary Boor, Marah Boor Archer, husband Ryen, all of Middlebourne. A son Aiden Swan of Alma. A granddaughter Ava Archer. Fianc Melissa Lancaster and her children Michael, Daniel and Megan. Three sisters; Pamela (Kevin) Clark, Alma, Robin Swan, Middlebourne and Rhonda (Jay) Jacobs, Paden City. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne Wednesday 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. the time of the service. Pastor Bud Bassett will be officiating. Interment in Middlebourne Cemetery, Middlebourne.
