Iva McCoy Bassett, 86, of Alvy departed this life Sunday, August 21, 2011 at her home.

Friends were received at Furbee Funeral Home, Rt. 18, Tyler, Tuesday 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Reverend Donald Thomas officiating. Interment in Alvy Church of Christ Cemetery, Alvy.
