Tyler County Magistrates Hear Court Cases

Jennifer M Caleffie, 53, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 11, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of Improper use of evidence of registration. She pleaded no contest to the charge before Magistrate Brian Weigle and was fined $186.48 including costs and fees.

Zayd I Al-Janaby, 19, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 22, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of speeding. He pleaded no contest to the charge before Magistrate Lynnsie Cline and was fined $262.00 including costs and fees.

Tyler A Belvus, 29, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 21, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of Failure to Maintain Control. He pleaded no contest to the charge before Magistrate Brian Weigle and was fined $186.48 including costs and fees.

Michael James Farnsworth, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 24, 2026, with the misdemeanor offenses of Domestic battery, Domestic Assault, and Interfere or prevent emergency communication. He pleaded guilty to all three charges before Magistrate Brian Weigle and was sentenced to six months in jail on each charge. He served five days in jail and the sentence was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation and was fined $529.44 including costs and fees.

Jared B Kemp, 23, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 22, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of DUI – BAC .15 or more. A hearing will be set in the matter. He was also charged with no proof of insurance.

Evan Ryan Nelson, 31, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 26, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of Speeding. He pleaded no contest to the charge before Magistatre Brian Weigle and was fined $276.48 including costs and fees.

Joel M Rucker, 64, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 13, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of New owner must secure registration and certificate of title. He pleaded no contest to the charge before Magistrate Brian Weigle and was fined $186.48 including costs and fees.

Haiden B Davis, 23, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on April 29, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of Speeding. He pleaded guilty to the charge before Magistrate Lynnsie Cline and was fined $227.00 including costs and fees.

Charles Fayad, 50, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on April 27, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of Possession of controlled substance without valid prescription. He pleaded not guilty to the charge before Magistrate Brian Weigle and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled before Magistrate Weigle on June 25, 2026.

Ashley Kay Hammel-Daughtery, 43, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 7, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of Domestic battery. She pleaded not guilty to the charge before Magistrate Lynnsie Cline and was placed on a $1,000 property/surety bond which was posted by A4 Bonding. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled before Magistrate Cline on July 2, 2026.

Steven Chad Jenkins, 41, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on May 4, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of no proof of insurance.

Alfred Lynn Jones, 67, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on April 26, 2026, with the misdemeanor offense of Fail to provide proof of properly disposing of solid waste. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and a pre-trial hearing was scheduled for June 11, 2026, before Magistrate Brian Weigle.

Corey Levi Morrison, 28, was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court on April 1, 2026, with the misdemeanor offenses of Operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate and Improper use of evidence of registration. He pleaded guilty to both charges before Magistrate Cline and was fined $374.00 including costs and fees.
