Tyler Consolidated High School students have enjoyed a year full of unique learning experiences and outdoor adventures, thanks to the support of the Steely Green Community Grant.

The grant made possible a wide range of activities, including two highly successful blood drives organized by the school. In addition to their community service efforts, students also had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, going on several fishing outings around the school grounds.

A highlight of the year was the second annual fishing trip to North Bend State Park, where 24 students participated. The grant covered the cost of fishing licenses, making the trip accessible to all involved.

In addition, the school was able to purchase new physical education equipment, enhancing daily fitness programs and promoting healthy lifestyles among students.

School officials expressed their gratitude for the grant, noting that these experiences have provided students with both educational and recreational benefits. “We are incredibly thankful for the Steely Green Community Grant,” a school spokesperson said. “It has truly expanded what we are able to offer our students.”
