The Wetzel Tyler County Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Breakfast Club is preparing to reconvene with its first meeting at Captain Richard’s restaurant, 198 W.Va. 2, New Martinsville from 9-10 a.m. Feb. 27.
Chamber Executive Director Sharon Campbell said the breakfasts are a networking opportunity for people across the region.
“All businesses and organizations are invited. It’s an open forum. … We sit down, exchange business cards and talk about whatever is happening,” she said. “There are five sessions. Attendance ebbs and flows, but there is always a meaningful exchange.”
In addition to Captain Richard’s, upcoming club meetings include:
– Valley Diner, located along W.Va. 20 in Pine Grove, on March 6;
– Speedway Diner, located along W.Va. 18 in Middlebourne, on March 20;
– Tasty Freeze, 512 Fourth Ave., Paden City on April 10; and
– Route 250 Corner Cafe, 2 Pennsylvania Ave., Hundred on May 8.
All breakfast club meetings are from 9-10 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring business cards and handouts, to exchange information and ideas and, of course, enjoy a delicious meal at the local eatery.
The meals are not free; participants order what they want off the menu and each person pays for their own breakfast.
