A discussion was held on street paving and Mayor Rice said that he had J.T. Paving provide a quote for a section of Work Street, Hedge Row, Happy Hollow and the alley beside the Wells Inn. The current paving fund is $34,411. Paving the afore-mentioned jobs would exceed the money available. Since there is not enough money to pave all the streets, the council will consider the priorities and discuss at the next meeting.

The two oil derricks at the corner of Diamond and Chelsea will be relocated to the grassy area across from the ferry on the current Oil & Gas property. They will be placed on both sides of the large sign that you can see when entering Riverside Drive or exiting the ferry.
