New Promise is one of the acts slated to perform during the Valley Praise Fest set for Aug. 17.

READER — For the past 15 years Valley Praise Festival has provided gospel music lovers with a day of quality music and entertainment. The annual event takes place at Faith Fellowship Praise and Worship Center 348 8 Mile Road in Reader, WV. The 2024 festival will be held on Aug. 17 from noon to 8 p.m.

This year’s line-up includes The Carriers, a group whose history extends back to the early 70’s and has traveled throughout West Virginia and the East Coast bringing the message of Salvation and the love of God to all who are willing to listen. You don’t want to miss them!

Back once again will be Blood Bought, another high energy group who delivers the message through song. The ever popular Johnny Staats Project, another great group will return to Valley Praise Fest along with New Promise and the Hallmark Quartet. All of these groups make for a day of Praise and Worship through song and message. Come early and bring your lawn chairs, spend the day at Valley Praise Fest in the hills of Wetzel County.

“We are pleased to provide some of the best gospel music in the nation to this region and it’s all free,” said Pastor David Kelly of the Valley Praise and Worship Center. “This is a free event with food, drinks, games, and family entertainment.”
