Sistersville Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny made an early visit to the Sistersville City Park on Saturday, March 30th to host an egg hunt for area children. The weather was a little damp with temperatures hovering in the 60s, but the large turnout of egg hunters helped spread the warm feelings of hope and new life the Easter season represents.
The children were divided into three age groups: 1-4-year-olds, 5-8-year-olds and 9-12 year-olds. Each group was given a different section of the park to scour for eggs looking for one golden egg hidden among the others that promised a special prize for the finder!
The honored guest of the day was the Easter Bunny, and he made lots of time for families anxious for pictures. Before leaving the park, the bunny promised a bigger and even better hunt next year!
