Oil & Gas Queen selected
Casey Lassiter was selected to be the 2013 West Virginia Oil and Gas Festival Queen on Saturday night at Sistersville Elementary School where the prestigious 45th annual Queen’s pageant was held.
Lassiter, a 17 year old student at Roane County High School, is from Spencer, WV, and competed in the pageant with nine other contestants.
She is the daughter of Jennifer Elliott.
The 2013 Queen’s court, selected at the pageant are: 4th runner-up, Natalie Trowbridge, Cameron; 3rd runner-up, Mackenzie Mullins, Summersville; 2nd runner-up, Rebecca Rhodes, Parkersburg; 1st runner-up, Madison Edwards, Parkersburg. Rebecca Rhodes was awarded the most photogenic award and Kaitlynn Coe was selected by the other contestants as Miss Congeniality.
Queen Casey Lassiter will reign over the West Virginia Oil and Gas Festival in Sistersville Sept. 12, 13 and 14.
