The following election results have been canvassed by the respective municipalities. They are still awaiting confirmation from the state level.

Friendly

For the position of mayor, the tie of five votes for Jerry Hayes and five write-ins for Bonnie Hostuttler has been resolved. Pending a signed withdrawing from the race, Jerry Hayes has verbally announced his intentions to concede the title to Bonnie Hostuttler.

Totals for unopposed candidates were: Recorder Susan Stoneking, 15; Councilwoman Betty Starkey, 19; Councilwoman Janice Duff, 18; Councilwoman Sherri Travis, 18; Councilwoman Darla Steele, 15; and Councilwoman Sharon LeMasters, 16.

Middlebourne

Running unopposed, Charles Delauder received 82 votes for the position of mayor, and Suzanne Farhatt maintains her position as recorder with 96 votes.

Totals for council candidates were as follows: Incumbent Councilman Doug Doak, 75; Incumbent Councilwoman Vera Henthorn, 66; Incumbent Councilman Dave Myers, 56; Steve Roberts, 49; Robert Jones, 49; Gary Patterson, 40; Mike Thomas, 27; Susan Pelikan, 27; and Bradley Hayes, 12.

Each incumbent councilor returns, with Susan Pelikan being the first in line to accept the position of the fifth seat.

Paden City

With 50 votes, Former councilman John Staggers will oversee the Second Ward seat. His competitors Joel Davis III and former mayor William B. Fox received 39 and 38 votes respectively.

For an amendment to the charter ballot allowing the town’s Chief of Police to live outside of the municipality, a total of 113 were in favor of the measure, while 80 opposed it.

Totals for unopposed candidates were as follows: Recorder Tamra Billiter, 173; First Ward Councilman Jim Richmond, 38; and Third Ward Councilman Dan Probst, 26.
