The Sound of Music is the true story of the famous VonTrapp family singers who fled Austria during the Nazi invasion of Europe and established themselves in America. Captain Georg VonTrapp, father of the family singers, will be played by Isaiah Richie in the Lincoln Theater production.

Richie, a graduate of Tyler Consolidated Hgh School, is a senior at West Virginia University and an honor student.

He may be remembered as Joseph in the musical production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”. The Sound of Music will be staged April 22, 23, 24 and a matinee performance Sunday, April 25 at the Lincoln Theater in New Martinsville,
