Stabbing is investigated
On March 6 Tyler County deputies responded to a complaint at 109 Main Street in Middlebourne, concerning a possible stabbing.
At the scene, officers questioned the male victim who verbally stated that Tawyna Denise Rose stabbed him in the upper left arm with a brown wooden handled knife.
Officers observed and photographed the wound that was approximately one and a half inches in length.
A minor at the scene was questioned and gave the same account as the victim as to the incident.
Rose, 39, was charged with one count of malicious wounding, two counts of domestic battery and one count of domestic assault. She was arraigned in lieu of bond and was taken to the Northern Central Regional Jail in Greenwood.
The investigating officers were Tyler County Deputy J.K. Maston, Asst. Deputy, Shannon Huffman and Tropper First Class, S.R. Curran.
