We here at the Tyler Star News are pleased and proud to announce the addition of a brand new family member to our midst. Maddox Stryker Corley was born at 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 8 in Parkersburg. The young lad weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. Mother, father and young Maddox are all doing well.

Congratulations to Jonay and Mitch and their families.

The only words that come to mind on the birth a new baby boy can never be put as eloquently as John Lennon himself did, when gazing on the face of his own son Sean. With these words, we welcome Maddox into the world, and to the Tyler Star News family:

Out on the ocean sailing away,

I can hardly wait,

But I guess we’ll both,
