Four charged with drug possession
While conducting an ongoing drug investigation in Tyler County on Jan. 15, the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on the residence of Jerry Noland.
Noland, 43, of East Charles Street, Sistersville, was taken into custody and initially charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. The investigation is still ongoing with further charges pending.
Along with Noland, other male subjects were found at the residence. David Anderson and Kenny Smith were charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
The TCSO was assisted by the Sistersville Police Department in the investigation.

While patrolling in the Meadville area, the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office investigated a male individual who was found on foot in the area of the Meadville Store in the late hours of Jan. 17.
During the investigation, Jeremy Lewis, 24, no address given, was found in possession of controlled substances and a large sum of money. Consequently, Lewis was taken into custody and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and remanded to the North Central Regional Jail in Greenwood and is being held on $20,000 bond.
The investigation is still ongoing.
