Allen and Carol Wilcox, formerly of New Matamoras, Ohio, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in February. They were married on February 27, 1959, by the late C.W. Rock in the home of the bride’s parents in Dale, W.Va.

Allen is the oldest son of the late Carl M. and Ellen R. Wilcox from Pine Grove. Carol is the youngest daughter of the late Francis (Frank) and Alice Lemasters from Dale.

Allen and Carol have three children and eight grandchildren that complete the family circle. Vicki and her husband Bruce Krieg of Fly, Ohio, have three sons Nathan (Sarah) of Canal Winchester, Eric (Ashley) of Marietta, and Derek Allen of home. Terry Wilcox and his wife, Julie, of Belpre, also have three sons, Cory and Cody both attending Ohio State University, and Shannon of home. Deanna and her husband, Todd Barnhouse, of Pickerington have two children, Brooke and Ethan.

The family celebrated this wonderful milestone in life at the renowned Smith and Wollensky Restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. Allen and Carol now reside in Pickerington, Ohio.
