In a few short days, a group of veterans will come together to honor the greatest generation of Americans and dedicate a monument to their honor.

The generation we speak of, is the generation of men and women who bravely fought to defend our freedom in two theaters of war – the World War II veterans.

We urge you to go out and take part in this important celebration of the lives, legacies and memories of these brave men and women.

The dedication has been slated for Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. on the front lawn of the Tyler County Courthouse. In the case of rain, activities will be moved into the courthouse.
