Gary and Frances (Wright) Weekley of Friendly were married on Sept. 16, 1965 by Roy Goodmiller at the Sistersville Church of Christ. They are members of the Friendly Church of Christ. Gary is a retired bus operator for the Tyler County School District. Frances is a homemaker and a member of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Gary and Frances have four children: Steven Weekley of Friendly; Gretchen Tome of York, PA; Karl “Andy” Weekley of Sistersville and Jeremy “Mike” Weekley of Linville, VA.

They have sixteen grandchildren: Matt Weekley, Brett & Courtney Weekley, Brianna & David Rodavich, and Alex Sullivan (from Steve), Alisha Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Alan Tome, and Charles Tome (from Gretchen), Hailey Weekley(from Andy), Kassie Shepherd, Aaron Weekley, Felicity Copenhaver, Savanah Copenhaver and Chloe Copenhaver (from Jeremy) and eight great-grandchildren: Jay Weekley, Cole Weekley, and Nevaeh Weekley(from Matt), Alex Yeager, Andrew Yeager, and Addy Mae Yeager (from Brett), Luca Rose (from Alisha) and Matthew Tome (from Alan).

Gary is the son of the late Emery and Doris (Miller) Weekley. Frances is the daughter of Hilda (Hays) Wright of Middlebourne and the late Glen Wright Sr.
