Kent Stewart Worthington and Katherine Elizabeth Blatt

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Blatt of New Martinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Blatt, to Kent Stewart Worthington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Worthington of Hagerstown, Md.

Blatt is a 2005 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University with a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Professional Administrative Certificate. She is employed by Berkley County Schools as an assistant principal at Potomack Intermediate School, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Worthington is a 2006 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a 2010 graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He is employed by Washington County Schools as a special education teacher and is an assistant baseball coach for Williamsport High School. Worthington is currently enrolled at West Virginia University pursuing a mechanical engineering degree.

An Aug. 2 wedding is planned at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Pittsburgh, Pa.
