Peggy and LeRoy Leach

The children of LeRoy and Peggy Leach will be hosting a 50th anniversary open house at the Paden City Christian Church on Aug. 3 from 2-4 p.m.

LeRoy is the son of the late Betty and Pete Leach. Peggy is the daughter on the late Frank and Ethel Williams.

Their marriage of Aug. 2, 1963, took place at the Sistersville Church of Christ.

Their family includes son John (Julie) Leach and grandson, Alex, of Ashland, Ky.; and Beth (Scott) Frum and grandsons Kyle and Joshua of Sistersville.

LeRoy and Peggy met at Union Carbide where they were both employed. LeRoy retired from the company after 33 years. Peggy became a full-time homemaker when they started their family. Later she was secretary at the Paden City Christian Church for more than 13 years.
