Amy Danelle Shurak - Dr. Joshua Paul Stokes

Dan Shurak of Bellaire, Ohio, and Kathy Hines of Paden City announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Danelle Shurak of Wheeling, W.Va., to Dr. Joshua Paul Stokes of Canton, Miss.

The bride-to-be received a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University in Fall 2012.

The groom-to-be received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University in 2009. He is employed at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Miss. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Stokes of Brandon, Miss., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stokes of Philadelphia, Miss.

The couple is planning an Aug. 10 wedding in Ridgeland, Miss.
