William and Estella Goodfellow formally celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 17, 2012.

The celebration was to be held last year and was delayed due to William’s months of hospitalization. This year, to celebrate the anniversary and his recovery, the entire family spent the weekend at North Bend State Park.

William and Estella were married by the Rev. W.R. Moyer. they are the parents of two sons, William Gregory (Shirley) and Mark Allen (Brenda), and the grandparents of Julie (Tim) Cozad, Shandra Celeste Ice (Jared), and Amanda Joy Goodfellow. They lost a grandson, Chase Tyler, at birth. They are the great-grandparents of Austin Cozad, son of granddaughter Julie and Tim Cozad.

William retired from PPG Industries after 40 years of service as maintenance supervisor. Estella was a former deputy sheriff in the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office and retired from the Union Bank of Tyler County. The Goodfellows reside at 601 Next Road, Sistersville.
