Dave and Darlene (Blatt) Freeman will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Dec. 29.

The couple was married at the bride’s home in Paden City. The groom’s father, Rev. K.H. Freeman, performed the ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 1961.

They are the parents of Jill Freeman Childers (Scott) and Dave Freeman II (Renee), and grandparents of Nick and Audrey Childers and Rachel and Dave III Freeman.

A family gathering is planned for the celebration.
