Hess, Newman exchange vows

Jenny Lynn Hess, daughter of Bill and Debbie Hess of Sistersville became the bride of Rev. Andy Newman, son of Rev. Rick and Connie Newman of Lavelle, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Paden City Church of the Nazarene in a beautiful candlelight ceremony. Pastor David Edwards and Rev. Rick Newman officiated the double ring ceremony.

The Matron of Honor was Julie Varughese, sister of the bride and the Best Man was Nathan Reese, friend of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Susie Prunty, Jessica Smazenko, Kristi Reese, and Lyndsay Wade.

Groomsmen were Justin Trefsger, Dan Semelsberger, Levi Motter, and Dan Wells.

Ushers were Nathan Porter and Brent Erb.

The flower girl was Natellie Newman, niece of the groom; and the ring bearers were Jordan Hess and Quincy Varughese, nephews of the bride.

Guest book attendants were Stephanie Lai, Bridget Lilley, Emily Whited, and also Coordinator, Holly Porter.

The pianist was Jim Shank of Charleston, friend of the bride; and the vocalists were

Bill Hess, father of the bride, and Sean Myers, friend of the bride and the groom.

The prayer of blessing was given by Dr. Alex Varughese of Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Following the ceremony a dinner reception, catered by Mellot’s, was held at the Mollohan Center in New Martinsville. The beautifully decorated wedding cake was made by Terri Goddard of New Martinsville. The rehearsal dinner was held at Quinet’s Restaurant in New Martinsville. Roger Forshey of Roger’s Imaging in Marietta, Ohio was the wedding photographer.

Following the wedding reception, the bride and groom honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Canada and now are making their home in Wilmore, Kentucky. Jenny and Andy both graduatedfrom Mount Vernon Nazarene University on May 22, 2010 and now Andy is enrolled in Asbury Theological Seminary where he will continue his studies. Jenny is employed by Asbury Theological Seminary as a Financial Aid Consultant and Andy is employed by PNC Bank.
