Sarah Beth Pryor

Fairmont State University honored students for their academic achievement and named scholarship recipients at the 33rd annual Academic Awards Celebration on May 7.

Scholarships and awards are made possible through generous gifts made to the Fairmont State Foundation, Inc.

Sarah Beth Pryor, a senior Elementary Education (Mathematics Education 5-9) major, received the Martha Flesher Endowed Scholarship.

A 2007 graduate of Paden City High School, she is the daughter of Kevin Pryor of Winter Garden, Fla., and the late Debra Blatt Pryor. She is the granddaughter of Ed and Ida Blatt of Paden City. She has been on the Dean’s List and the President’s List, is a member of Kappa Delta Pi education honor society, has been a student employee in the Student Employment Office, has been a peer counselor for math on campus and is a PROMISE Scholar.
