Lockhart wins festival crown

Kelci Lockhart traveled to Morgantown on Oct. 10 to compete in the Fairs and Festivals pageant at the Mountaineer Balloon Festival.

After competing against 13 other girls, Lockhart was crowned the very first “Little Miss Balloon Festival Queen.”

She received a crown, sash, a trophy, and a $50 savings bond. After the pageant she got to take a walk in the inside of a hot air balloon as it was being blown up.

Lockhart attends second grade at Paden City Elementary School.

She is the daughter of Kurt and Kimberly Lockhart and the Sister of Kyla Lockhart of New Martinsville. She is the Granddaughter of the late Lawrence B. Goddard Jr. and Mary Goddard of New Martinsville and Bill and Linda Lockhart of DeRidder, La.
