Karter had his picture taken with other Mountaineer stand-outs including, Jarrett Brown, Noel Devine, Jock Sanders, Scooter Berry, Reed Williams, Wes Lyons, Coley White, and Bradley Starks. Karter was also wished happy birthday by a member of the 1988 team. Mountaineer great, Reggie Rembert and son (who’s now on WVU’s roster) posed for a quick photo.
Karter’s actual birthday was Sept. 7 and celebrated again with a Spongebob Squarepants Party at the home of his great grandparents, Pappy Harley Barr and Nana Ruth Wamslely of Hundred, W.Va.
Family and friends enjoyed a cookout, games, cake and ice cream before Karter opened his presents.
