Eric Lovell received recognition from Rudolph P. Almasy, Interim Dean.

Eric Lovell graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography in May. He was awarded a Graduate Assistantship at Ohio University where he will pursue a Master of Arts in Geography and be a teaching assistant for the geography dept.

While continuing the study of Geography, Eric will be focusing on the use of geographic information systems and remote sensing applications to study physical geography, particularly land-use and environmental planning techniques. Lovell will also be involved with Team Athens Cycling Team, where he hopes to competitively road bike race.

After completion of his Masters degree, Eric has interest in continuing his education in pursuit of a PhD.

Lovell is a 2005 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High School.
