Contestants sought for annual pageant
The 41st Annual West Virginia Oil and Gas Festival’s Queen Pageant Committee is looking for young ladies from all parts of West Virginia to be contestants in the pageant held on Saturday July 11, 2009 in Sistersville.
The new queen will receive cash prize of $1,200, crown, sash, flowers, plague, gifts, and will reign over the September 1719 festival in Sistersville. The queen and her court will be featured in the “Grand Oil and Gas Trophy Parade.” Also, the new queen will represent the festival in the January Fairs and Festivals of West Virginia State Fair Queen.

Deadline for entry is July 6.
An entry fee of $125.00 is required for the pageant.
