Lisa Marie Ervin and Mario Francis Stender

Lisa Marie Ervin and Mario Francis Stender were married June 13, 2008, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Paden City. The Reverend Mr. N. Rod Fagert performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Janice Ervin of Fairmont. The groom is the son of John and Diana Stender of Middlebourne.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her friends, Katie Loukota and Stephanie Farley, as her Maids of Honor. Bridesmaids were Hailee Stender, AnaRosa Stender, and LeAnn Ervin.

The groom’s cousin, Andy Flor, acted as best man. Groomsmen were Will Garrucio, Ben Haggerty, and Jacob Potts. Zoey Cain was the flowergirl and Bruce Garrucio was the ring bearer.

Susan Seders provided music for the ceremony. Readings for the ceremony were given by Laura Helmick.

A reception was held at the Lewis Wetzel Family Center in New Martinsville.

The bride is a current student of West Virginia University in the History program. The groom is an employee of Simex.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Walt Disney World and are currently residing in Parkersburg.
