While traveling through Ireland, Charlie and Linda Duke from Paden City took time to read the Wetzel Chronicle as they paused just outside the Titanic museum in windy conditions to catch up on the news back home. The museum is located in Belfast Ireland and is the home port to where the Ship of Dreams was built. Inside the modern museum they learned how she was constructed beginning in 1909. Shortly after her completion in 1912, she set sail on her maiden and final voyage.

While traveling through Ireland, Long time residents of Middlebourne, Mike and Christine Farhatt take a few minutes to read the Tyler Star News. At the time they were next to the Atlantic Ocean on the Giant’s Causeway near the far Northern end of Ireland. The rough beachfront is below high cliffs created when lava rose up 50-60 million years ago, during the Paleocene Epoch, intense volcanic activity pushed molten basalt through chalk beds, forming the lava plateau. The most unique thing about the location is the cooling lava from thousands of hexagon shaped stones.
