The Sistersville Public Library recently wrapped up a successful summer reading program, with good attendance throughout the season and a variety of educational and entertaining activities for children and adults. The program concluded Aug. 5 with a visit from the Wheeling Smart Center, where participants had the opportunity to learn about dinosaurs and examine fossils presented by Robert Strong, Director of the Smart Center.

Other summer activities included Zoo to You, a visit from the Challenger Learning Center, a LEGO build-a-dinosaur program and a hands-on fossil dig. The library would like to thank the Sistersville Elks Club, Wendy’s and Domino’s for their generous support in helping make the summer reading program a success.
