Local Collective Market

By Staff | Apr 8, 2026

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for stepping forward to be part of something meaningful. Your willingness to contribute your time, skills, and resources is what makes The Local Collective Market possible. Our mission is simple: Support local farmers, value-added food producers, and our neighboring bakers by providing a reliable marketplace, maker space, and training opportunities

Bridge the gap in food access by bringing nutritious and affordable options back home while supporting benefit programs that assist our neighbors

Foster community and empower local families through outreach and educational events centered on wellness, agriculture, sustainability, and community development

This project is about more than providing nutrient-dense food–it’s about restoring dignity, choice, and the value of wellness to our neighbors while strengthening our local economy. To see this vision through, we need your help.

Here are a few ways you can contribute:

Hands-On Help:

Demolition, cleanup, and general site preparation

Simple repairs and build-out work

Skilled Expertise:

Plumbing

Electrical work

Bricklaying or stonemasonry

Material Donations:

Windows and doors for replacement

Concrete mix

Lumber for small builds

Financial Support:

Contributions to help fill material and labor gaps

Support for critical roof repairs

Assistance with initial operational costs as we prepare to open. If you’re ready to get involved with hands-on help, material donations, or lending your expertise or would like to discuss how you can best contribute, please reply to this email. We will be coordinating upcoming workdays and next steps in the coming week.
