The convention was held on January 13-15, 2022. Several reigning queens from local fairs and festivals represented their titles during the event. Each young lady participated in a 30-second Event Promotion, Interview, and Evening Gown competition. A total of 78 queens from around the state took part in the event.”

“Tyler County’s Middle Island Harvest Festival Queen, Lainey Brown, and WV Oil & Gas Festival Queen, Emma Kitchen, both placed in the Top 15. Nicholas County Potato Festival Queen, Brennah Groves, was crowned the 2022 WVAFF Queen. She will reign over the 2022 State Fair of WV. “
