The Tyler County Sheriff’s Office answered 192 complaints and calls in December. Included among those complaints were: 58 Traffic Stops which included 21 citations being issued, 16 requests to speak to an officer, 13 Driving Complaints and nine Animal Complaints.

The Sheriff’s Office made six arrests including one domestic battery, one obstructing an officer, one possession of a controlled substance, one possession with intent, one fleeing from an officer, and one driving while revoked or suspended.

Other calls answered included16 criminal investigations, monitoring three home confinements, three noise complaints, two destruction of property complaints, five domestic violence complaints, two search warranrs served, one shoplifting, one stolen vehicle, four suspious person complaints, four theft complaints and served 55 Civil Services.
