Judge Jeffery D. Cramer Hears Tyler County Court Cases
The following court case were heard on January 5, 2022 in Tyler County Circuit Court with the Honorable Judge Jeffery D. Cramer presiding
Taylor E. Reed, age 27, of 401 Union Street, Paden City WVa. appeared alongside attorney Dean Williams for a pretrial hearing. Reed faces one felony count of conspiracy to deliver heroin and one felony count of delivery of heroin alleged to have occurred on or about October 12, 2021. Judge Cramer ordered Reed’s personal recognizance bond to continue. She is to return to court for a trial, set for January 27, 2022.
Gary E. LeMasters, age 50, of 3612 Sellers Rd. Middlebourne WVa. appeared in person with attorney Lynnsie Parsons for a motions pretrial. LeMasters was charged by indictment on or about October 12, 2021 with one felony count of Uttering. LeMasters was released with bond continuance and is set to return on February 10, 2022 for trial.
April D. Eddy, age 47, of 3612 Sellers Rd. Middlebourne, WVa. who was indicted on or about October 12, 2021 on a one count felony offense of forgery, appeared with counsel Dean Williams for a pre-trial hearing.
Eddy, who is currently on bond, is set to return for a trial, set for February 3, 2022.
James D. Wade, age 50, of 179 Woodburn Run Rd. Alma, WVa. appeared in court with counsel Lynnsie Parsons on Tuesday for a motions pretrial. Wade was previously indicted on or about October 12, 2021 for the felony of Driving Revoked and subsequent third offense DUI, the felony of Fleeing with Reckless Indifference, and the misdemeanor Assault on Law Enforcement Officer.
Wade was remand to jail with a Jury Trial set to begin on February 1, 2022.
Margaret A. Moffitt, age 61, of 3357 Oil Ridge Rd. Sistersville, WVa. appeared in court with attorney Lynnsie Parsons for a motions pretrial. Moffitt was previously indicted on or about October 12, 2021 for the felony offense of Embezzlement by Fiduciary. Judge Cramer, at the recommendation of the state, dismissed the charge without prejudice. Prosecutor D. Luke Furbee turned the case over to the United States Attorneys Office for further proceedings.
