Tyler County Schools Provides Summer Meals

The Tyler County Board of Education announces their sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program. Summer Food is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.

Meals will be served at Tyler Consolidated Middle/High School, 1993 Silver Knight Drive, Sistersville, WV 26175. Meals will be provided at Breakfast from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and lunch from 11:00 Am to 1:00 PM, starting June 14, 2021 through July 30, 2021. They will be closed on June 21 and July 5 in observance of WV Day and Independence Day.

A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months. Remember, Hunger Doesn’t Take a Summer Vacation!

Wednesday, July 7: Beef noodles, mashed potatoes, biscuit, green beans, peaches and milk variety.

Thursday, July 8: Corn dog, chips, peas, Rice Krispy Treat, fresh fruit and milk variety.

Friday, July 9: Calzone, yogurt, baked beans, triple berry pop, fruit cup and milk variety.

Monday, July 12: Chicken patty sandwich, tator tots, veggie dippers, cookie, fruit cup and milk variety.

Tuesday, July 13: Hot dog, chips, baked beans, fruit salad, Rice Krispy Treat and milk variety.

Wednesday, July 14: Picnic chicken, sweet potatoes, roll, strawberries and milk variety.

Thursday, July 15: Pizza, tossed salad, broccoli, fruit smoothie and milk variety.

Friday, July 16: Hamburger, potato wedges, peas, watermelon and milk variety.

Monday, July 19: Spaghetti and meatballs, breadstick, green beans, fruit and milk variety.

Tuesday, July 20: BBQ Pork Sandwich, onion rings, carrot sticks, orange and milk variety.

Wednesday, July 21: Orange chicken, egg roll, rice, peas, Mandarin oranges and milk variety.

Thursday, July 22: Chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, broccoli, fruit smoothie and milk variety.

Friday, July 23: Pepperoni roll, baked lays, carrot sticks, triple berry pop, peaches and milk variety.

Monday, July 26: PB&J Sandwich, pretzels, carrot sticks, fruit and milk variety.

Tuesday, July 27: Ham & cheese stuffer, chips, carrot sticks, fruit smoothie and milk variety.

Wednesday, July 28: Taco salad (meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, chips and salsa), refried beans, churro, fresh fruit and milk variety.

Thursday, July 29: Rotini, green beans, garlic breadstick, apple crisp and milk variety.

Friday, July 30: Pizza, Caesar salad, corn, strawberries, cookie and milk variety.
