Chamber Seeks Heroes in The Community
The Wetzel County Chamber of Commerce is asking for your help with identifying heroes in our local community. Each year, the Chamber holds a community Awards event where we recognize the people and organizations that make our home such a wonderful place to live.
We need your help to identify these people. If you know someone you think deserves recognition for what they do, go to www.wetzelcountychamber.com or stop by our office at 132 North St in New Martinsville and fill out a nomination form for your local hero. This year, we are looking for nominations for the following categories:
Business Professional; Citizen; Civic Organization; Educator; Employee; Health Care Professional; Law Enforcement Professional; Youth Leader.
“There are so many deserving people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day,” said event Chairperson, Jane Ann Gamble. “We hope to shine a spotlight on some of those who go the extra mile to keep us safe, educate our children, drive the local economy and take care of us when we need help.”
Nominations are limited to those who live or work in Wetzel, Tyler or Monroe county. Please make sure that your nomination is submitted before March 15th. You can email Nominations to Office@WetzelCountyChamber.com, mail them to P.O. Box 271, New Martinsville, WV 26155 or fax it to (304) 455-3637.
