The Show Must Go On

By Staff | Oct 14, 2020

Paden City High School Marching Band is keeping their spirits up, as well as the community around them. Regardless of no band camp and pod practices that finally moved to full band with masks and distancing, Paden City High School band students and instructors have not given up or given in. Mrs. Debra Price resorted to ‘thinking outside the box’ to give the students a way to share music with their many supporters and community as well as keep their performance edge.

PCHS Band has marched around town, played in the parking lot after the Labor Day Parade, made a house call for a special birthday, and performed outside the windows for the residents at both the New Martinsville Center and Sistersville Center Genesis Healthcare Facilities as well as Rada Weekley’s in Sistersville.

They were also recently featured on WTRF as CA House Band of the Week.

Friday, October 9 titled Friday Night Lights was a special performance for the band families.

On October 23 they will be performing and assisting with PCHS Homecoming Celebration.

Keep your eyes open for the Paden City Wildcat Marching Band! Their pride and spirit are alive and active!
