Sisterville Library Installs New Security After Recent Break In

By Leann Cochran - Staff Writer | Oct 1, 2020

The teen room at Sistersville Library recently had several items stolen.

The Sistersville Library recently lost about $2,000 in valuables. Librarian Sabrina Kyle reported a 50 inch television, a Playstation 4, and a Xbox 4 were stolen from the downstairs teen room.

Kyle reported the room had been closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Since the break-in, the library has installed a new security system and changed the locks.

The Library is seeking donations to help replace the items that were stolen. Kyle reports she would prefer non-monetary donations of items such as televisions, game systems, and games. New or old, all items would be greatly appreciated.
